Our mission

The Honorary Consulate is the point of call for Czech citizens needing assistance while in Malta, both visitors and residents of Malta, with lost travel documents and other emergencies.

The Honorary Consulate also works on increasing bi-lateral commerce between Malta and the Czech Republic, as well as tourism and cultural exchanges.

The Honorary Consulate is supported by the Czech Embassy in Rome for other broader functions.

Travel documents

The Honorary Consulate is able to issue emergency passports to Czech citizens that have lost their travel documents. An emergency passport can be used to travel to the Czech Republic where a full passport can be obtained through the usual channels.

Identity cards can only be issued in the Czech Republic.

Where can you find the Honorary Consulate?

The Honorary Consulate is conveniently located at the SkyParks Business Centre at Malta International Airport. Various transport options are available to this location including getting any X routed bus.

The Honorary Consulate is hosted in the offices of Shireburn Software on the 3rd Floor. Please proceed to the reception on 1st Floor to be authorised into the elevator/lift.
