The Honorary Consul
The Honorary Consul for the Czech Republic in Malta is Mr John Paul de Giorgio, who assumed the role in July 2022.
John graduated from the University of London in 1983 and then founded Shireburn Software Ltd, a leading software products company in Malta in 1983. The company consists of a team of 85 and specialises in the development and support of software products for businesses with a particular emphasis on people management, such as payroll, human resource management, attendance, and analytics, as well as accounting and inventory systems. John is also a committed Rotarian. Having been President of Rotary Club Malta and District Governor of Rotary’s District 2110, Sicily and Malta, John has also been a member of the worldwide Learning Committee of Rotary International 2020-23 and its Chair for 22/23.
John’s is fluent in English, Maltese and Italian.
