The Data Box enables the sending of authenticated letters to the Czech authorities in electronic form. Thanks to the Data Box, communication with the Czech authorities is more efficient, faster, more reliable, and free of charge.

Applications from outside Czechia for the issuance of a login for the Czech Databox require the fixing of a prior appointment at the Czech Consular Office in Rome or the in Milan. Personal attendance for the submission is always mandatory.

The user will need to present original proof of their identity (passport or ID card). It is recommended that you contact either office to ensure that all required documents are taken to the appointment.

Delivery of the new login credentials are sent by Česká pošta via Registered Mail with Restricted Delivery service, in the case of foreign subjects and also representation by proxy, this is not possible in a country where this service is not available.

Personal collection may be required. Please confirm the procedure with the Rome or Milan Consulates.
